This is an original 1954 Chevrolet “Leaders” 25 Year Service Award 10K Gold Ring that Chevy executives would receive after 25 years of membership in the factory “Leaders” recognition group. The Leaders group was for “wholesale” or factory employees only: Central Office, Zone & Regional Office personnel. The ring has the Leaders winged emblem and Chevy bowtie logo on the front between “CHEVROLET” and “LEADERS”. On each side there’s a XXV. The Leader’s emblem and XXV’s are filled with black paint to bring out the details. The recipient’s name, along with 12-1-54 and 10K are stamped inside. That would mean he started with Chevrolet in 1929, only 18 yr after the inception of the company. The ring size appears after measuring to be an 11. This ring’s guaranteed to be an original Chevy award item. The ring is in very nice condition and extremely rare to find on the market. There are some light scratches on the sides. Black paint is in good condition. This ring will make a terrific gift for any Chevy diehard or a great addition to any memorabilia collection. Definate attention getter with the Chevy crowd. The inner band etching is hard to read but I believe if you enlarge the images you can make everything out. The box is just for display purposes and not the original box. It is not included.
