Classic DuPont Auto Paint Advertising Sign – Refinish Products (1983). A fantastic piece of automotive and industrial history! This is an original, vintage aluminum advertising sign for DuPont Automotive Refinish Products, dated 1983. This sign would have been prominently displayed in an authorized auto body shop, garage, or paint mixing center to promote DuPont’s professional line of automotive paints, such as the famous Imron polyurethane enamel and Centari acrylic lacquer, which were dominant finishes in the 80s for their durability and high-quality color. Vintage Napa Auto Care Center Aluminum Sign, 3 Pieces, Total Length 8.5 Feet
This is the tougher one to find. I have 2 of them. These are aluminum and originally were set on wooden frames and have a lip for framing on the backside. They hang fine without the frame but to withstand heavy weather outside, a frame is better. Each piece is 34.5″ x 34.5″ The entire sign when hung is roughly 8.5 feet by 3 feet. Obviously wear and tear. Weathered and has some dings. This particular style is much more difficult to find than the other common ones you see.

Vintage NAPA Auto Parts Advertising Double Sided Aluminum Sign 18 x 24 NOS
Offering a NOS Napa auto parts aluminum double sided sign measuring 18″ x 24″. This includes the NOS bracket and hardware. One side still had the sheet of paper. From original packaging to protect it. I pulled it down for pictures. There are a few. Minor scratches minimal paint loss and stains from a long storage as seen in pics. Vintage Original Good Year Certified Auto Service Sign 72 x 21 Aluminum
For consideration is a vintage original “Good Year Certified Auto Service” sign. It measures 72″ x 21″ and has some weight to it. I believe it dates to the 1980’s. I believe it is made of aluminum as a magnet does not stick. It has 6 holes for mounting. The sign is in very good original condition with signs of age and wear. It does have scratches, some paint chipping/loss, corner bends, edge dings. In my opinion it is a very attractive piece that would make a nice addition to a collection.
