This is for sale to addresses in the LOWER 48 STATES ONLY — otherwise the sale will get cancelled! I’m guessing this is from the 1950’s, but it could be older than that. This sign was in my Dad’s dealership when he bought it in the mid-1970’s. The pegboard has some grease stains, and some of the holes are wallered out, and the paint has chipped off. The frame is made out of aluminum tubing, and the red paint has peeled off on the back side. It measures approximately 48″ wide x 37″ tall. For being approximately 70 years old, it is in pretty good condition! Approx 8″ tall and 23.5″ wide with a magnetic bottom. This is a VERY RARE car sign that used to be placed on the cars at dealership. My guess is it’s aluminum with a magnetic strip on the bottom. The one for sale is NEW IN BOX, but the box isn’t real pretty as you can see. A mouse has said hello to the box as it’s been in storage for many, many years in a barn by a dealership that has been close for years. The one out of the box for display has a scratch in it, so there might be a small scratch like this in the one new in box. I don’t know because I can’t see in the box well at all. The more original the more valuable I’m sure. Made by Donaldson Art Sign Company part number PR 433484. You may never find one like this again. This is for the true collector.
