Original Vintage Auto Repair Shop Lighted Sign

This beautiful sign was rescued from a rural repair shop in northern Kentucky. The sign face is 44″ x 22″ and is double sided, has newer wiring and sockets and new switch and cord added. (Pictures taken show a temporary pigtail but it has a new heavy duty cord and plug installed now) Overall dimensions are 50″ x 27-1/2″ around the frame or “can” as it is sometimes called. A neat feature of this sign is that it can be ceiling or base mounted, it has a heavy duty 4 bolt attachment plate that is able to be used on the top or the bottom of the frame. I have it now currently on the bottom, but it’s easily changed. Weight is approximately 50 pounds. I can help load if needed.

Up for grabs we have a GIGANTIC! Vintage tribute to the almighty fire breathing 426 Hemi Big Block. This was hand fabricated and welded from a heavy gauge steel into a folk art tribute to the world’s most famous engine. The mailbox was pulled from outside service years ago and had received maintenance and upgrades throughout its life. There is some aging primarily on the top silver portion of the engine from weathering but the black and orange is in very decent condition, im assuming auto paint was used and held up much better too the elements. There is a total of 19 lights in the engine, the headers and blower have flame flickering bulbs which brings it to life wonderfully and the valve cover ports/boots have amber indicator accent lights. The motor is huge! Very heavy and built like a tank. The door and flag work very well, the top pulley has a large industrial magnet that secures the door in the closed position. The belt is a heavy gauge steel band welded onto the pulleys. We do not know how old the piece actually is, judging by its design most likely 1970s-1990s. As it sits currently this would be used indoors inside your shop or as a piece of display art for the garage or man cave, you would need to modify the electrical components to weather proof if you wanted it for outdoor use. Since 2006, we’ve been the place to go to for gas pumps and other retro items like. This new LED lighted clock that has the look of a pam style clock, but incorporates. A lighted sign and timepiece rolled into a new lighted clock. With a retro antique vintage look. The clock face is printed on a unique UV dried computer printing process that lasts. For years when others have either worn out or thrown away. The clock is a battery. Power quartz movement clock that runs on one AA battery (not included). This is not a neon clock, but a clock with LED bulbs behind the face. In the clock are electric. The clock must be plugged into a standard outlet to light. Up and has a 6 foot cord with an inline on/off switch to turn the lights on or off. The body of the clock is made from tough ABS plastic and the outer lens is made.
