This sign looks absolutely GREAT! It has nice vibrant color and graphics. Still has the brass grommets in the mounting holes. This sign was rescued this week from behind a barn. We took it to the car wash and here it is! It’s in excellent condition and I think with some careful cleaning could be made near MINT! It has very minor wear–some minor discoloring to some of the white—-I give this sign a solid 9 out of 10. Very few signs are better–very very few chips. Check the mounting holes where there’s almost always chipping–but not on this sign. Destined to become a HIGHLIGHT in your collection. A nice addition to your collection–in COLLECTOR’S condition. Beautiful vintage 1966 Checker dealership interior showroom illuminated lighted sign. Checker Sedans – Stations Wagons / Built to Last. Measures 50 x 16 x 4. Date stamped June 3, 1966. Labeled Hanover Manufacturing, Columbus Ohio. There are a couple of cracks in the plastic face that have been repaired from the backside of the face. No missing pieces and shows well both lighted and unlit. The metal housing has the original gold hamerite finish. Overall very nice condition. Thank you for looking.
