Up for sale is an OK Chevrolet advertising banner. Bottom right corner marked “Printed in USA”, probably 1960s. It is made of a canvas-like textured material. Awesome piece of OK Chevy advertising. Overall fair condition considering age, nature of use and fragility. There is one fairly large tear (about 7 1/2″ long) by the “USA mark at the bottom right corner. One tear (about 2 1/2″) in the “E” in “MAKES. A few other small tears scattered throughout the banner (as pictured). There are also a series of small pinholes in straight lines going from top to bottom in a few spots SEE PICTURES! These do not detract terribly, but they are noticeable, and are mentioned for accuracy. Banner has scuffs, soiling, wear from age, use, and storage, color inconsistencies, and other forms of wear. Some minor tattering around the edges. Banner still has quite good color and excellent eye appeal overall. Pictures reflect the condition issues present with the banner, however if you have any particular questions about the piece, please feel free to ask and I will be more than happy to help! There are no mounting holes or grommets for hanging, you will need to use clips. There are some creases and wrinkles, I did not attempt to iron these out, they may or may not improve. Banner may improve with a professional cleaning, I did nothing to it, it is literally garage fresh. Great and rare find! 104 1/2″ long by 34 1/2″ tall. Any questions, feel free to ask!
