Thanks for stopping by… Up for sale here we are happy to offer this r. Are vintage box of 1930s era Henry Ford Charcoal Briquets. These briquets were designed and marketed to use up the scrap wood leftover from making Fords Model A & Model T. Box is new and unused, but does show signs of 90 years of age & wear – Yes, the charcoal is still inside. The red string was on it when found & is probably helping to keep the box structure & shape. Not perfect, but a really rare piece of Ford Motor history. Henry & his cousin Mr. Kingsford developed this charcoal to use up scraps of wooden car leftovers. I have had numerous people stop to take pictures, one kid down the road asked his brother how much I paid the girls to sit in there and when I first put it out with the bent hood still half up, some lady called 911 because she thought the girls ran off the road and needed help. So it grabs attention for sure, I have another one just like it so first come gets their choice of which one, the other has no wheels or tires. I can load it on a trailer for you and there is no title just a Bill of Sale. No my girls stay with me, I’m just changing them up to something different. This is an original Sunoco pole sign. How many of these do you think are still out there? Large sign, around 9 feet wide. Double sided heavy plastic lighted pole sign, displays well. PLEASE VIEW ALL PHOTOS TO DETERMINE CONDITION. Sign is badly in need of a good cleaning, no cracks and it has not been opened or tested. I was planning on placing some LED lights inside it. I do have the pole mount, it is included. I do not have the pole but they’re not hard to find. Any questions just ask. Sign sells as is where is in Indianola, Iowa 50125.
