Very cool original Order-Matic (made in Oklahoma) A&W Root Beer Drive Up Car Hop Ordering Menu. It has been wired to plug in normal outlet and the switch on the cord lights up the two sided menu board and the toggle switch operates the Car Hop Signal red light (for when you are ready to order or to have tray picked up) In overall very good condition and there is a crack in the plastic shroud clearly shown in photos. It can easily be repaired with glue however we are leaving that to the new owner. Please take the time to review all 12 photos. Measures 58″ tall and just under 28″ wide. Large Double-Sided Hanging Metal Vintage Ford V8 Sign

Really nice condition Ford sign. I was told that this was hanging in a local garage at least as early as the 1970s. That being said, I know there are some repros out there and I don’t want to deal in them. From what I can tell, the repros have different styles of hole-enforcers, and have a hole at the bottom, too, and this one doesn’t. It is also a bit faded all over, not the bright blue that the repros have. If anyone has any other info about this, please let me know. There are surface scratches all over, but no rust.
