Working Antique 1915 Buick Motor Cars Blue w/ White Border Porcelain Thermometer w/ Wood Backing(for the thermometer piece). The thermometer height is 27 inches and width is 7 inches and was manufactured March 16, 1915. The thermometer front and back do have some fading, rust, chipping(the most obvious being the top), possible paint marks(on the back) and expected and wear and tear for an item over 104 years old. The wood piece on the back is very slightly loose(possibly manufactured that way), but is still firmly secure; the hole on the bottom of the wood piece does appear to have an unknown old dry substance of some sort inside. I’m unsure what it is, but it does not appear on the comp. The most unique aspect of this item is that opposed to the other thermometer for sale, this thermometer does not have a company advertised on the bottom white area below “Motor Cars” and could at your discretion be left blank or used to advertise your own company.
