Vintage Automobile Gasoline Pump. Original 10 gallon Fry Visible Gas Pump
This is your chance to own a piece of American automotive history. An original 10 Gallon Fry Visible Gas Pump model 17, serial number 124293 manufactured by the Guarantee Liquid Measure Company Rochester Pennsylvania. This is a Mae West (with its hourglass shape, they were nicknamed after the curvaceous actress of the 1920’s). It is missing the pump, pump handle, hose, 1 base door and the glass cylinder was broken many years ago…. Also, the dome top has been bead blasted, repaired and primed, base has been bead blasted and the globe glass and globe holder are reproductions. Wifey says i have to thin the herd. Flat head six with manual trans. Ran when I got it and will run with new fuel. Has Four new wide whites from Coker to move it around/ Slight rust through in rear trunk pan and drivers side floor/toe board area. Other than that shes very solid. Car looks chopped but that is factory. She will make a very cool cruiser or restore to original. Only part missing is side grilles (which I was going to fill in) and front bumper is in two pieces (broken).
