Made to sit on salesman’s desk. Base measures 4″ square the sign measures 2 1/4″ tall and slides into base. Check my entire description for more information. Having started in the business as a parts man in 1968 I would say if I list an item as NOS, or New Old Stock it does not mean the part is mint, or even perfect. Ford Motor Company has always been in the business of building mass produced vehicles and parts, NOT show cars. VINTAGE 1950s BUICK CAR DEALERSHIP SIGN 6 FT! HAND PAINTED MASONITE AUTO DEALER
For Sale is the perfect gift for a Buick or GM fan’s man cave! This is an incredibly rare, Bill Johnson Buick Dealership sign, measuring 72″ X 21″. Located in Oak Park, IL, Mr. Johnson owned the Buick dealership there for decades. The previous owner of the sign thought it was mounted at the dealership in the 1950s, but I cannot be certain. Note that the telephone number still uses the two letter prefix, which helps date the sign. The sign is made of approximately 1/8 masonite. Vintage Fiat sign lighted sport car garage racing, Rare Dealership Sign, 1960’s
This is a really cool original Fiat glass sign box. This sign was inside an authorized Fiat repair shop/parts dealer. We believe the sign is from the 1960’s could possibly be older. This is an amazing find and we could not find another one anywhere and have been periodically checking for the past few years. The sign measures 14×20 1/2 approx 4. It lights up and has a newer ballast. Weighs approx 20 lbs. Needs a plug and is missing a screw in the back. Lights up nice and bright with a tremendous amount of patina. The sign has been very well preserved and has no cracks in the glass. The aluminum trim frame is in very good condition. The actual Fiat logo you see when you open up the sign is very delicate and could literally disintegrate of you tried to wipe it. It is pretty clean inside. This would make a great addition to any garage especially someone who is a collector or fiat enthusiast. Really, really, cool and rare conversation piece, might be the only one available of it’s kind. Don’t miss out! Item will be packed very well, however we will not be responsible for any broken items. In good used condition, all the colour is intact and damage that i can see. Has 2 small holes for thin bolts or rivits etc. Was made for Melfords by Hobson metal works, now also no longer in business. Badge is 4 3/4 inchs. Description revision – Has no damage at all….
