Original vintage (not reproduction) Alfa Romeo dealership sign circa the late 1950’s or early 60’s. It’s all metal and hand-painted. Based on the design of the logo I believe it is older than 1968, but I’m not certain. There are no identifying marks about who produced it, but the level of craftsmanship in the lettering and crest suggests it was made by a highly-skilled professional sign maker. There’s been one owner ever since, so I know for a fact it’s at least 50+ years old. Very good original condition with excellent color and a nice patina. It measures 28 inches and weighs less than 10 pounds so it is a fairly large piece. Good shape with no dents or dings and structurally sound. A few notes about condition. There are some scratches throughout and some light surface rust poking through areas on the front. There’s also l. Ight surface rust on the back, but nothing major. Few of the mounting holes along the edges are broken and there are remnants of an old rubber gasket along the right edge. There are a few light stains/splash marks on the front as well as some greasy fingerprints along the edges that could probably be cleaned up, but I will leave that to the next owner. Overall it is a beautiful example of vintage European automobile advertising and would make a fine addition to your garage or man cave. Open to offers, more pictures available upon request.
