Here is an original hard-to find sign front or cover that would have been part of an outdoor sign at a Ford Dealer in the 1960’s/1970’s (my best guess). It measures 46.5″ wide by 25″ high, and approximately 2 deep/thick. It is made of plexiglass or plastic, and is in very nice condition with no cracks/ breaks, or pieces missing. I took some closeup pics along the edges to show where some of the white paint on the backside has shrunk and started to crack. These are not cracks in the plastic. This will need a light source behind it to illuminate it as it is just the plastic front or cover from the sign. I’m guessing it would be pretty easy to make a light box or frame and install some fluorescent or other type of bulbs behind it.
