Looking for a cool one of a kind sign for your mancave or garage? This is an original double sided sign that was faded away to nothing. It has bull nose on each end and was originally a pole mount sign. We installed eyelets so it can be hung from the ceiling. I had this sign patina painted into what it is now – HI-SPEED Gasoline. This sign has character! Sign displays very well when lit up and has a killer patina when off, see photos. Definitely a one of a kind. Measures approximately 7′ X 3′ X 16. This is a vintage thermometer sign from the Universal Batteries company, circa 1950s. It features bright, attractive paint colors and a striking design. Please note that it does show some signs of wear and age. Please examine the photos carefully and note the following condition description. The sign is made of metal. There are no deformations in the metal. The paint is bright but does have numerous fine scratches in the surface, in addition to some rubbed/scraped/missing paint areas along the edges. On the bottom edge, there is a white material on the surface that may be tape residue. The thermometer is intact and unbroken, but may not read the temperature correctly. On the back, there are some scratches and some inactive rust along the edges and bottom. This is really great item especially if you are an americarna memorabilia fan or car guy…. This super for a man cave. This is a legit sign likely from the 70’s or 80’s and removed from operpation about 20 years ago! WHATS GREAT ABOUT THIS IS IT WORKS PERFECTLY AND it will display so well. This is a vintage thermometer sign from the Universal Batteries company, circa 1950s. Although it has never been displayed, it does show some signs of wear and age due to poor storage conditions over the years. Please examine the photos carefully and note the following condition description. The sign is made of metal. There is a dent with scratched and missing paint on the bottom edge of the sign 3x. The dent is only on the lip of the sign, and does not detract much from the overall shape or appearance. The paint is bright and solid. There is a faint white dot to the left of the “R” that measures. The thermometer is intact and unbroken, but may not read the temperature correctly. On the back, there are some scratches and some inactive rust along the edges and bottom. The box is in poor condition with tears, signs of old water damage, and mold stains. Two screws for hanging are included. The item will be double boxed.
