RAC’GET YOU HOME SERVICE’ ANTIQUE VINTAGE ENAMEL PORCELAIN ADVERTISING SIGN. Out of my personal collection (see other nice signs I have for sale at the moment as well), this is probably the most attractively designed of the original RAC enamel sign designs made, featuring a great large crown design at the top i. Royal’ patronage, and a laurel wreath design around the main’RAC’ old style format lettering. 10 7/8 (275mm) wide both ways. I would describe as very good indeed, with only minimal light scratches to the surface and some small dings and rusting around the edges and fixing holes, and retaining the majority of its original sheen – I generally only collected the better condition ones, and I think this one will be amongst the best of this type available. It also retains some old white paint on the back at the bottom, presumably from someone fixing it back in place before it dried – I’ve left this as found, although it will remove very easily if preferred.
