Located in Oak Park, IL, Mr. Johnson owned the Buick dealership there for decades. The previous owner of the sign thought it was mounted at the dealership in the 1950s, but I cannot be certain. Note that the telephone number still uses the two letter prefix, which helps date the sign. The sign is made of approximately 1/8 masonite.
