To say this vintage original advertising poster is “rare” is actually an understatement. Beautifully p rinted in 1997 – it simply does not exist virtually anywhere, as it was only given out to a select few BMW dealers in 1997 and to a few members of BMW’s Motorsport team (PTG). I know all that because I was the lead writer on the BMW USA advertising account from 1995 to 1999. I wrote and produced over 120 ads for BMW while working at their ad agency, Fallon McElligott. This 1997 M3 Motorsport poster is one of the award-winning advertisements I wrote. It won awards at the prestigious One Show and also in the Communication Arts Ad Annual. This poster is in MINT condition. NEVER USED and absolutely FLAWLESS. Its award-winning artistically grainy photo helps make this a beautiful piece of RARE and historic motorsport art. FYI, I was there when this photo was shot. It was at Testing Week for the 1997 24 Hours of Daytona. The art director, photographer and I all had Media credentials, so we had amazing access to places around the track that others just couldn’t go. I was standing next to the photographer (Shawn Michienzi) when he shot the iconic photo you see in the poster. The BMW M3 you see on the track won its class at that year’s 24 Hours of Daytona. The printing quality is incredibly high. It’s printed on a very heavy (thick) stock and is varnished, so it is very durable and looks absolutely gorgeous. It has been stored in my flat-file cabinet in a smoke-free home for 26 years, and it’s exactly as it looked in 1997 – in flawless, MINT condition. Overall Dimensions: 26 inches by 19 inches. Will be packed EXTRA CAREFULLY so that it remains in pristine condition. Happy to answer any questions.

Hesitant to take pictures of the inside pages since the bindings has never been folded/opened but managed to take some without cracking it fully opened.
