Super cool and super rare Pontiac dealership counter sign. 11″ wide x 7″ high x 2 deep. Manufactured by Price Bros, known for their quality. Constructed of a metal base with thick etched and painted glass sign face with painted metal reverse sign face. Illuminated by a pair of small incandescent bulbs and works well. There is an in line on off switch to control the lighting. I would date this sign from the 1940s or 1950s era, but the exact age is unknown. Certainly a very old item. The item displays nicely but does show various areas of wear and tear and patina, as shown in the pics. There is a chip out of the glass on the lower left side, presumably from someone over tightening the mounting screw. Hard to observe when the glass is mounted. There are expected areas of wear and paint loss, scratches, scuffs, rust, dirt, ect. The wiring and bottom access plate were missing, so I had a master electrician fabricate and install a new plate with completely new wiring, switch, bushing, plug, sockets, and bulbs. All told a killer lighted sign that would look great in your dealership, repair shop, garage, man cave, etc. The quoted s&h charge is for the lower 48 states only.
