The guy who originally bought it wanted some quart cans that I had. Vintage 1940’s Ford Parts Dealer “Genuine Ford Parts” (16.5 X 24 Inch) Double-Sided Porcelain Sign. From the Ford Motor Company. This is a vintage sign from the 1940’s for collectible purposes or display. There are many reproductions of this sign currently flooding the market. This one is guaranteed to be an original sign. Good to very good condition. There are some scratches and some scuff marks on each side of the sign. There are a few small areas of surface rust on each side. There are also some minor chips along the top and side edges. Overall very clean & displayable. Colours are vibrant and the sign is still somewhat glossy and shiny. Very good addition to any vintage sign collection or to any Ford collection. Measures approx- 16.5″ inches in height, 24″ inches in length. No maker’s mark. The face is an earlier design then the few you can find out there. This is an extremely nice clock, and is in very good condition. I cleaned the face, and wiped off the case. I did not open it up, does have some bug dust inside. The cord has been spliced, a newer standard wall plug added. Works as it should. Also the stem for the hands is slightly bent, and missing grip. Was able to turn with a pair of needle nose. Impossible to find OLD FORD ADVERTISING! Circa late 20s early 30s I believe. High quality collectors estate find!
