ITEM: This is for a vintage Chevrolet dealership clock from Chopping Chevrolet in Riverton, Wyoming. I obtained this clock about 20 years ago and did a number of things to refurbish the clock. I replaced the clock mechanism inside with a new unit (exactly the same as original). I had to redo the neon since that was broken. Also the case was repainted and the clock was generally cleaned. It works just great – you can see the last picture with the golden yellow neon glowing. The clock is approximately 21 inches in diameter and about 6.5 inches thick. Not sure of the exact age, but guessing this is from the 1950’s or 1960s. The clock is in used condition and has been refurbished. As you would expect for an item that is probably 60 to 70 years old, it shows some age here and there. As indicated above it was repainted and the neon was redone. The clock mechanism was replaced with an exact replacement mechanism. The case has a few dings and small dents. Otherwise looks and works fine. A very nice piece to go with your Chevy collectibles and signs. A centerpiece for any man cave. I have now carefully boxed the clock. It is double-boxed using two custom made boxes. Both boxes are made of heavy double wall cardboard. In addition, I used an extremely generous amount of bubble wrap. The final boxed up item weighs about 29 Lbs. I took 4 or 5 photos of the boxing process that I can send to you. It took me several hours to carefully pack the clock and lotsa bubble wrap. Can be picked up in Los Lunas which is about 15 miles south of Albuquerque, NM. I will do what I can to make things right — or you can return the clock if it is broken.
