Volkswagen Security Blanket Vintage Car Cover 1970’s HUGE! This vintage blanket was a promotional item from Volkswagen in 1974. Check out all the pictures! I did not see any holes or tears in this blanket. It had some minor spots on it that came out when I washed it but some spots on the edge did not come out (as pictured). Washing it unfortunately caused the letter “s” in “owner’s” to lighten up on one side, also pictured. So overall a very cool and rare piece of Volkswagen history! Please note the print advertisement picture is just for reference and is not included with the blanket. This blanket probably covers a Volkswagen Beetle much better than my old BMW!
