Displays well, one side better than the other. Measures approximately 24″ X 18″. The hanger is original to the sign and has had some sloppy welding done at some point in it’s life, would be easy to repair & pretty up. Any questions just ask. It’s hard not to go bananas about this vintage Bird Dole Food Company Display Car. This miniature model T has a 3 HP Briggs & Stratton engine and runs like a champ. Haul fresh produce or drive it in parades, either way you are sure to have a blast in it. It is in very good, but unrestored condition. The motor looks newer, but I don’t have a manual to know what model came in it. Either way it runs great. I was only able to find evidence of one other Dole Banana car in existence. I was told this sat in a grocery store here in the Kansas City metro for 20 years. I don’t know which one, but if you saw one with Dole Banana on it at some point, it was probably this one. This 6 foot tall vinyl banner appears to have never been used outdoors and dates from the 1960s era. It is 25 1/2 inches wide. It is still in nice shape with great graphics….. Not 100% mint (nothing is to me) but nice as you can see with brilliant colors….. You would be hard pressed to ever find a nicer one. I have collected for 30 years and I have never seen this item before. It’s an old original with no touch ups or repairs and it’s GUARANTEED authentic.
