For the Discerning Coke, or Train, collector, an Extremely rare PROMO 1928 AMERICAN FLYER SET OF 3 TRAIN CARS” advertising “PURE AS SUNLIGHT, DRINK COCA-COLA IN BOTTLES. Considered by many to be the one of the most desirable and difficult to find train sets of its era. There is light wear to the litho as shown. Some of the couplings are missing and need addressed. There is no locomotive or tender, but I found what I believe what was the original wind up mechanism to the locomotive at the garage sale I bought these at. RARE Vintage Antique Automobile Michigan Pre State Leather License Plate Sign

RARE Vintage Antique Automobile Michigan Pre State Leather License Plate Sign. Dating somewhere between 1905 and 1908. Information from the family is that they were from a suburb of Detroit. This is a nice rare tag with a three digit registration which is pretty awesome since it makes it the 724th car registered in Michigan! The plate has seen some hard times and could probably use a little romance but it is a marvelous untouched survivor. The leather is dry and has some cracks and breakage and is brittle on the edges, the metal frame can be seen on the right hand edge of the plate. The numbers are intact and well attached, the 7 is a little separated at the top corner but is solid. There is an original old chain and retains it’s original clips. The plate measures 13 3/4″ wide by 6″ tall. Please see the photos as they show the condition as well as I can describe it.
