This is a vintage thermometer sign from the Universal Batteries company, circa 1950s. Although it has never been displayed, it does show some signs of wear and age due to poor storage conditions over the years. Please examine the photos carefully and note the following condition description. The sign is made of metal. There is a dent with scratched and missing paint on the bottom edge of the sign 3x. The dent is only on the lip of the sign, and does not detract much from the overall shape or appearance. The paint is bright and solid. There is a faint white dot to the left of the “R” that measures. The thermometer is intact and unbroken, but may not read the temperature correctly. On the back, there are some scratches and some inactive rust along the edges and bottom. The box is in poor condition with tears, signs of old water damage, and mold stains. Two screws for hanging are included. The item will be double boxed.
