A great original electric blinking sign. We are thinking it came from Best Western Hotels in the 1950’s or early 1960’s by the look of it. A duplicate of this sign can be seen in the movie NEXT with nicolas cage. There is a scene where he is in his bachelor pad and it is flashing in background. Sign was found in a clean barn. We restored it as shown. We removed old unoriginal blue paint back to its original anodized gold and red paint. We had to touch up some of the white stripes. We rebuilt the sides in aluminum and added strength and bars to back to keep it rigid and to make wall hanging easy. This great sign is about 5’x8′ and 12 thick and weighs about 50-60 pounds. We kept all the original wiring in back and added a new electronic controller and it has about 30 different settings and speed adjustments. We have it flashing to what we like the best. This super sign would look great in a nostalgic gameroom near a pinball machine or near a billiard table. It would look nice next to a old coca cola sign or an old neon sign or a old gas and oil porcelain sign. I have seen similar signs that are flashing arrows and flashing neon signs that this would look good with. You are welcome to come and see it anytime.
