I acquired this sign from a former employee who worked for dealer right up to the end. I was told it hung over a fireplace in their showroom. The Krajenke slogan; “hard to spell, easy to deal with”. Sign is a custom made 1 of 1 piece of Americana. Needs some fine cleaning and dusting. Loose feathers / parts can be easily manipulated to your liking. The hawk is solid copper and has developed a nice patina. The underside of the wings has turned a really cool red color in spots. The hawk is holding an old piece of barn wood with the dealers name spelled out in crudely cut out letters. There is a steel framework inside the bird complete with a hoop up top for hanging. 50″ wide, 30″ tall, & 15 deep. 30 minutes from Flint, and 45 minutes from Ann Arbor. ONE OF A KIND VINTAGE SURVIVOR 1950’s FORD DEALERSHIP SIGNAGE : ” F ” ” O ” ” R ” ” D ” 1950s FORD Dealer Four Foot tall sign letters! These ” F ” ” O ” ” R ” ” D ” letters are original (NOT reproductions) “True Survivor” signage from a 1950’s Ford Dealer! This Cleaned, Rewired, and overall Refurbished sign was displayed at Jack Roach Ford, Cambridge, Minnesota during the 1950’s to early 1960’s. Included is one set of “FORD” letters that are four feet tall by about Eleven to Twelve feet long (depending on spacing) which were displayed and used on a 1950’s Ford Dealership. The pictures of the “D” show it as red is not correct, the camera does not show this color accurately- the true color of the “D” is “PINK”. Please look at all of the pictures especially the ones in the daylight which shows the true colors of this beautiful sign. The sign was originally lit with neon now it is lit with brand new LED lights. (which are broken in pieces) and glass. Brackets are available upon request and will have to be packaged carefully. 100% authentic True Vintage 1950’s Ford Dealer signage and MADE IN USA. Large Vintage Lackner Chevrolet Dealer Neon Wall Clock c1949 Original Chevy. Offering this old steel Chevrolet dealer neon wall clock made by Lackner, dated 1949. It measures a little over 20″ across and just under 6″ deep. The clock does still work but the neon does not and the glass is cracked.
