Vintage Promo Car Isetta 700 Tin Friction Car by Bandai Japan

This is a vintage Tin Toy, given as a promotion by a dealership to the owner’s (who consigned it with us) parents and played with then stored away. Made by Bandai the car is in a good condition considering it’s age though there are the normal dings and blemishes involved in aging. The friction drive no longer works and one of the trims on one of the wheels is no longer present, missing for a long time. It was kept with a collection of other promotional cars. The car measures approximately 6 1/2 inches long 3 7/8 inch wide and 3 1/2 inches tall approximately. We do not know if this is to scale. Painted in green trim, we were advised that it never had’glass’ in the cab. From a pet and smoke free home of a collector of Promotional Cars. We have no control over charges they make for this service but without it access for those overseas would be restricted. Hi Folks – We are back again after a couple years… Starting with some childhood things and on to vintage clothing, Chevy things, sports, barware, art & lots of misc, etc. We try to group items together, in case you decide you want to actually start collecting something, but please check back for awhile in case I find more related items. We have a lot to list, if we don’t lose our steam! Always check our total current listings. We’ll keep the price low and hope goes to a good home, but also, re-sale is AOK with us. We don’t clean or repair, since we aren’t as skilled as the specialized collectors, etc. And probably, not 3 day mailing… We do this a bit laid back, as is possible, and winter weather influences all we do! Thanks for your interest. This is about perfect – looks faded in pic and isn’t. Probably never taken out of the cello sleeve, certainly never used. A few little spatter like aging marks that should gently clean up nicely. Check photos carefully, but I think is super. We just admired them, I’m sure. Like Olds, Buick, etc. Hoping a real treat for someone at the car show! Could even of been later into the early 80s when we wrapped up, but I think earlier.
