THIS ITEM IS— from a large group of vintage printing samples, usually called “INDEX”, large, folded and as shown, some with some light wear and tear, some in great shape. I have a large variety of pieces, advertising, book, map, radio, gas, food, little golden book, SOME REALLY NEAT STUFF. Very cool from a printer out of Chicago I think. You are considering the item shown in the condition shown, sometimes the number written on back shows through (as shown in photo if applicable). ——THIS IS REALLY A GREAT PIECE OF POP ART, I hope you appreciate the coolness of this and the other items. This one is dated 1950, the image size is aprox 17×22. All sizes are aprox. And may be off by 1/2 inch. There is info written at the bottom and a number on the back. VINTAGE OLDSMOBILE 1940s MODEL 60 ADVERTISING PRINTING PLATES BIG CAR CLASS I found these printing plates while I was helping a friend clear out his mother’s printing shop when we were teenagers. I always thought they were very cool looking. The plates are advertising the 1940s Model 60 Oldsmobile. There are some great marketing strategies they uses within the plates. Simple one liners to catch the buyers eye. Everytime I look at the etchings with a different light approach I catch more detail that I didn’t see before.
