Old car, advertisement piece, sign, lawn decor, conversation piece, whatever. I believe it’s a 1949, if I’m wrong I’m sure to be corrected soon. It’s rusty, it’s junky but it’s cool. There is a flat head in it that I’m sure is junk. The suspension is junk. It’s junk what can I say. Either someone will see a 1000 dollars worth of parts on it or a 1000 dollars worth of other value to it. That’s up to the person interested. I’m just not getting into the he said she said with it, so I’ll call it junk. I will tell you this it’s the talk of the neighborhood around here with the girls heads in it. Everyone tells my customers when asked for directions the guy with the 2 girls in the car down the road. I have had numerous people stop to take pictures, one kid down the road asked his brother how much I paid the girls to sit in there and when I first put it out with the bent hood still half up, some lady called 911 because she thought the girls ran off the road and needed help. So it grabs attention for sure, I have another one just like it so first come gets their choice of which one, the other has no wheels or tires. I can load it on a trailer for you and there is no title just a Bill of Sale. No my girls stay with me, I’m just changing them up to something different. They are just heads if you want to do the same, heads with stuffed shirts. LIVE OUT OF STATE? DON’T KNOW HOW TO GET IT BACK? Vintage SUBARU dealer lighted sign. The sign measures approximately 10′ 1″ Long by 2′ 6″ tall by 6 1/2 Thick. I do not know the exact age of the sign but if I had to guess I would say it is from the 1970’s or 1980s. For Local Pick-Up Only. It’s been sitting in storage for years. The Lexan / Plastic Face does not have any cracks, but there are scratches and scuff’s and discoloration from years of storage and use. The metal frame is solid but also has scuffs and scratches. Measures approximately 69″ x 51″. We can’t think of another use of a sign this size that can be light up from the back than to be a dealer sign! Here is an original hard-to find sign front or cover that would have been part of an outdoor sign at a Ford Dealer in the 1960’s/1970’s (my best guess). It measures 46.5″ wide by 25″ high, and approximately 2 deep/thick. It is made of plexiglass or plastic, and is in very nice condition with no cracks/ breaks, or pieces missing. I took some closeup pics along the edges to show where some of the white paint on the backside has shrunk and started to crack. These are not cracks in the plastic. This will need a light source behind it to illuminate it as it is just the plastic front or cover from the sign. I’m guessing it would be pretty easy to make a light box or frame and install some fluorescent or other type of bulbs behind it.
