This Is a large VW merchandising sign that was displayed in a dealership for many, many years! Size is 17 3/4 L x 21 1/8 H. Minor dent and small crack on the top right hand corner of the V along with some cosmetic blemishes. This is a vintage piece that is a real eye catcher! Note, the emblem is raised in the center for a more dramatic visual effect. Dont let this one get away! You might not find another. The yellow box in the top left corner and the white box across the bottom would have been left blank so the dealer could have a sign painter customize the sign to their requirements. All that I’ve done to this sign is wipe the dust off and wipe it off with Windex. I allowed it to dry before taking any pictures. Sign measures approximately 60″ X 40″. This beautiful work features the Cadillac name logo in a finished wood frame. The piece is in excellent condition and was owned by my family that ran a Cadillac dealership for nearly 70 years. The sign is framed and measures (including frame) approximately 13.5″ tall and 22″ wide. It features four pictures vignettes and is titled Use of the Apperson among the hills of Eastern Canada. I have not removed the sign from the frame, so I cannot speak to the condition for other than what I can observe with in the frame. The condition appears to be very nice with some light discolorations. This is certainly a very rare piece being (likely) a hundred years old and being made from paper.
