2 Monroe Shock Absorber Vintage Advertising Pedestal Ashtray And Metal Drum Can

Lot of two vantage Monroe shock absorber pedestal ashtrays and a metal drum/can. Looking at the two ashtrays they are in good overall condition but they do show their age and would make a great project to restore or could be re-purposed and turned into small end tables or whatever you can think of. The ashtrays come as shown in the pictures they are both missing the glass ashtray insert and one is missing the top handle See pictures. The top and bottom parts of the ashtray are made of metal and the shock in the middle is made of plastic. Looking at the metal can it is in good preowned condition but it does have some scuff scratch marks and some rust but it does not have any rust holes. The Can could be displayed on its own or would make a nice shop/garage trashcan. Rare Old Vintage Shell For Morris Cars Petrol Can Drum Tin Running Board. Good can, needs restoration. It has a hole rusted on the top as can be seen. Shell for morris cars embossed in the top, brass handle and a nickel plated brass top. Non returnable is also embossed on the top of the tin. Other than the hole in the top the can seems quite solid. The embossing on the top is faint and rusted, see the pics. Clams embossed onto the fronts of the can and shell embossed on the sides. The can is not original paint, has been repainted at some point. Vtg 40s FORD ANTI-FREEZE 54 Gallon DRUM Barrel Can Antifreeze Oil Gas Sign

Original circa 1940’s FORD ANTIFREEZE 54 Gallon Dealership Steel Advertising Drum. Very Rare Ford advertising; only a few of these are known in private collections. Note the obsolete Methanol content warnings, 25 Cent Quart Top, & side Rolling Hoops (Ridges). This came from a local estate of a man who worked in the parts department of “Alex Creighton” Ford Dealership. This can was brought home from the dealership at some point and stored in the back of a pole barn until recently when it was found. Heavy industrial Barrel weighing just shy of 43 lbs unpacked. Has all painted graphics at three sides (top and 2 sides). Stands 35″ tall with a width of 23″. Thoroughly cleaned and free of oil or residue. Otherwise as found with no touch up, refurb, or alterations. Shows a number of light surface rust spots, mostly toward top of sides at Blue. No deep pitting or crumbling. Solid from top to bottom. Drum does have some dents and dings but none at side or top painted graphics. Top graphics are pretty amazing with no significant wear aside from some scratches. The two side graphics have some scuffs, minor, fade, and wear. All are clear and legible including the two Methanol poison/ Antidote warnings. Barrel paint has a nice shine. All things considered, this drum is Exceptional for age. Please refer to pictures for additional information on trademarks and condition.
