This sign measures 11 3/4″ tall by 8 3/4″ across. Across the front of this automobile & luxury sports car sign is the large Porsche Stuttgart horse and says Porsche in large lettering at the top. This sign has porcelain on the front and back. See pictures for exact condition, there are some chips and nicks around the edges, the front and back, and around the mounting holes. This pump plate is great for anyone collecting petroliana, americana, old gasoline motor oil collections, man-caves, your garage, or anywhere that needs an interesting and fun collectible for display. Plastic face with fiberboard type back – please see photos for condition – there are 3 or 4 cracks/splits (on the bottom edge), could be glued down but does not really show when displayed (all can be professionally remedied) – There are two missing plastic inlays from the upper’4 bar’ inserts – top right. This is a Very Rare Vintage 1966 Chevrolet Colors Dealership Showroom Paint Display. This display would have hung on the wall in a Chevrolet Dealership in 1966 displaying all the color options available for cars that model year. The display features paint colors painted onto pieces of metal to accurately display what the color would look like on cars. It also features beautiful graphics of the cars available that year, including the Corvette Sting Ray Coupe, Impala Sport Sedan, Nova Super Sport Coupe, Corvair Corsa Sport Coupe, Chevelle Malibu Station Wagon, and Caprice Custom Coupe. The display has a vinyl covered wood frame that measures 41.5″ wide and 32″ tall, some of the vinyl is peeling. The display is in great cosmetic condition with wear from display, storage, and age, including scuffs, small paint chipping, and some staining to the paper. Used Delco Battery Charger from the 40’s or early 50’s, 6 volt. It is a trickle charger made to charge up to 6 batteries at once. All of the wires are very poor. Excellent ORIGINAL paint and graphics, The lights have made the color look yellowish on some of the photos but it is consistently the darkest orange on all sides, No fading, No dents. Cosmetically it is very good. There is electrical tape on the backside that could be removed. Approx 9″ X 7″ X 3.5.
