Up for your consideration is a hard to find VINTAGE 1963 Chevrolet DEALER PROMO MODELS HALF CAR WALL DISPLAY W/WOODEN FRAME. It appears to be in very good overall condition EXCEPT for the following flaws: The red Corvette is missing the front bumper half, the Nova Wagon is missing the rear bumper half and the complete half windshield which extends from the front windshield to the rear. Everything else appears to be excellent with no other damage that I noticed upon a quick examination. The wooden frame is in excellent condition for age along with the black felt backing aside from a little dust etc. The frame measure approx. 17’x14 in size. The back still has the factory hanger intact at the top along with the cardboard backing that has the factory clips holding the model cars in place. The factory cardboard did pull the staple thru near the bottom left corner but the other 3 staples are still intact. You can see it from the front in that area where it caused a small tear in the felt and cardboard where staple pulled thru but when it is hung up you can hardly tell (see 11th photo). The cardboard is just a bit loose where the staple pulled thru. The models may be a bit dusty from years of storage. They may also have some very minor factory flaws in the paint. The models were factory cut in half so they would mount flush on the top of frame to be displayed on a wall like a photo. This was a dealer wall display that is featured in the 1963 Announcement or Merchandising Catalog (see 10th photo). The dealer could order this from the catalog to place on the wall in their dealership for new car announcement time. Please note: I did not examine the models with a magnifying glass looking for micro flaws. It is possible you might find a minor imperfection or flaw which would have been part of the manufacturing process and/or from long term storage.
