Up for sale here we are happy to offer this rare vintage box of 1930s era Henry Ford Charcoal Briquets – These briquets were designed and marketed to use up the scrap wood leftover from making Fords Model A & Model T. Box is new and unused, but does show signs of 90 years of age & wear – Yes, the charcoal is still inside – Not perfect, but a really rare piece of Ford Motor history. Henry & his cousin Mr. Kingsford developed this charcoal to use up scraps of wooden car leftovers. Very rare piece of Ford history. This is box 4 of 4 that will be listed, get one while they last. These briquets were designed and marketed to use up the scrap wood leftover from making Fords Model A & Model T. Box is new and unused, but does show signs of 90 years of age & wear – Yes, the charcoal is still inside. The red string was on it when found & is probably helping to keep the box structure & shape. Not perfect, but a really rare piece of Ford Motor history. Henry & his cousin Mr. Kingsford developed this charcoal to use up scraps of wooden car leftovers.
