Produced by Neon Products Inc. Restored with new 3/16 tempered hardboard sign backer, new electronic ballast and new 20w fluorescent tube. Clockwork was completely cleaned and lubricated, and the sealed Telechron motor works well. Clock face, bezel, glass and hands are original. The plastic sign has one small 3-point crack (shown alongside a dime for scale) but its tight and barely shows through to the front. The worn graphics were not touched up but the entire plastic enclosure was painstakingly polished to bring back as much lustre as possible without causing further damage. Sign measures 26 1/2 x 9 with overall height including clock of 18. It was rewired in same configuration as found where the clock plugs into an outlet on back of sign. Theres a new 7 cord and both plugs are 2-prong vintage repros. There is a small scratch in the paint on the front from a mishap during assembly but it cannot be seen when clock is hung on the wall. I tried to show it but its difficult to photograph; note its not through to the primersurface only. Theres also a dozen or so small fish-eyes in the paint surface on the back. A cool piece with patina enough to show its legitnot an imported repro. I will carefully pack the item(s) to minimize the opportunity for damage in transit.
