Rare Vintage Drink Coca Cola Advertising Sign, Let us put a Case in your car…. This is a paint-on-Masonite version of the cardboard 1950’s sign which was used indoors. The paint-on-Masonite version was designed to be used outdoors near a stack of cokes in crates. As shown in the photos, at some time this sign was fitted on back with an oak bar and screw eyes to provide for hanging. In addition to the chip along the upper edge at right, there are five holes (three on top left, one on hand, and one below hand in case) which have been repaired/painted to various degrees. There is a chip on the upper edge and a 1 3/4 long vertical crack on the bottom which has been covered on the surface by a stroke of paint. The condition of the back is as shown in photos. This sign is approximately 11 3/4″ wide x 14 1/2″ tall. The overall condition is as shown in photos above. Despite it’s blemishes the graphics and colors are clear and bright!
